A session for the Fashion Designing students of Sasmira on the topic 'Art in Everyday Dressing'. There were over 70 participants and we had a lot discussions on 'Sustainability' in fashion. It was a great feeling to know that the young minds are waking up to the fact that a 360 degree change will be required form both their side as well as from the consumers buying patter to save the environment from the damage fashion industry has been doing! We all agreed that to begin with, we need to create awareness in the minds of customers about creating a 'meaningful' wardrobe by being conscience about their purchases and avoid impulse buying

Communication skill' is one of the most difficult skill to master and a lot of us struggle in our professional and personal lives to make connections or stand up for ourselves as we lack the confidence to communicate effectively. It was a pleasure to conduct a training session for a group of young minds so that the step into their future more confidently.
Power of clothing
We had a very interesting mix of women in this batch of POWER OF CLOTHING a pilot, few fashion designers , physiotherapists, nutritionist , marketing professional, home entrepreneurs etc. It is challenging yet exciting for me as a trainer to make the same content relevant for such a diverse batch! Moreover when it is a topic which addresses ones body shape and face shape, where we cannot put individuals into a particular category an dask them to follow certain rules because the irpersonalities, lifestyle and values also play a large role in dresses up.
Dining Etiquette and Desert making
We conducted a 'Dining Etiquette and a dessert making workshop' for kids along with a Pastry Chef Ashneet and the workshop was very successful! The kids learnt to set their table, use of napkins, use of fork and knife, right way to have soup, way to have food in buffet and other tips on table manners.

Topics covered were: Professional Dressing, grooming, body language and office etiquette. It was a mixed batch of senior and junior team members of the organisation. When we meet engaged participants the knowledge sharing becomes a joyous experience for us as trainers.

We recently collaborated with The Tipsy Canvas to create a unique Scarf styling and block printing workshop. The participants learnt different styles of drapes, using various fabrics and prints on different body types, innovative accessories to style on scarfs. Additionally they did block printing on scarfs which they carried home. Very well appreciated buy the participants and a successful attempt to put together a workshop on style and art.

This workshop was focused on Re-styling garments by mixing and matching existing clothing in the wardrobe and creating new looks for the festive season. We also covered a few saree and dupatta drapes. The workshop was well received by the participants
